At Courtside Homeschool Academy, we are pro-teacher. As former teachers, we are no strangers to the unrealistic expectations and demanding nature of a traditional classroom environment - a place where teachers are unable to take care of their mental, physical, and emotional health. At CHA, teachers are not an afterthought, and our business approach and educational philosophy was created with students, families, AND teachers in mind.

Why Courtside Homeschool Academy

One-on-One Environment.

School days consist of teaching in a 1:1 ratio. No distractions, no long hours, and no unnecessary paperwork - just teaching. Educators have the luxury of focusing on the needs and learning style of their student in a one-to-one environment.

autonomy.

While CHA provides some content and materials, teachers are not required to follow a scripted plan. The freedom to be creative is highly encouraged, because CHA teachers are trusted and respected in their field of expertise.

A personal advocate.

Teachers matter, and CHA will advocate for them at all costs to ensure they are comfortable in their “classroom” environment. All educators have access to a CHA representative whose sole purpose is to guarantee that CHA teachers are safe, comfortable, and respected.

No cost.

Ready to join the team? Submit an application and CHA will take care of the rest. There is no placement fee to be matched with a student. CHA will identify the perfect family for each teacher based on personality, values, and teaching style.

Teacher Requirements

    Teaching Certificate.

    CHA teachers must have the necessary certificate/license to teach students of the corresponding grade level in the student’s home state.

    Teaching Experience.

    Courtside Homeschool Academy requires a minimum of one full year of classroom teaching experience to be considered for an open position.

    Strong References.

    Candidates interested in teaching for CHA must provide three credible and relevant references as part of the application process.

    Reliable Transportation.

    CHA teachers must have access to consistent and reliable transportation in order to meet with students and families in their home.

    All CHA teachers must have access to a functional computer and high-speed internet for in-person and virtual instruction.
